Aged to Perfection

Last Wednesday night turned into an unexpected celebration.  I was relieved to be finished with my class, & my sister was "celebrating" the first anniversary of the last night of her 28th year of life.  In other words, it was the night before her 30th birthday..so we had a few drinks & did a couple shots:

On Saturday, we had the real birthday celebration.  Her sweet boyfriend rented a limo & planned a trip to Balducci Vineyards.  We met at a mall where we surprised her with the limo:

Ha! Just kidding..that limo was for a party for a group of little girls.  This was our limo & driver, Alex, from Russia:

Alicia had no idea we were planning this trip for her.  She was so surprised!  Her boyfriend did a great job coordinating it all.

The winery was pretty cool.  It was an old farm that had the stables/barns converted into the wine tasting & seating areas.

It was a little rainy that day, but I still walked around & snapped a few pictures outside:

That night, we met some more friends for a Mexican dinner at Rosalita's Cantina:

Lish had a margarita with her dinner & then rode the whole way home with her head between her knees..ha! I should have taken pictures of that.  She passed out on the living room floor as soon as she got home, but she said it was the best birthday she ever had ;-)
